Research interests:

Adam’s major interests are regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. His undergraduate research produced two publications and a patent in the field of tissue scaffold design. Specifically, his first publication improved functionalization of electrospun fiber scaffolds by coating them in peptide-incorporating nanofibers, and his second publication (and patent) created a novel collection method for electrospun fibers which improved porosity and three-dimensional depth.

Personal bio:

Adam was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He enjoys playing soccer, watching college sports and was a student spirit leader for the UAB Blazers. Adam is never shy about checking out the local hot spots, and enjoys the metropolitan atmosphere of Richmond.
