Research interests:

Audra's research experience has been in microbiology and cancer molecular therapeutics, as well as the clinical setting. Her main undergraduate project was aimed at understanding the genetic and evolutionary mechanisms of carcinogenic pesticide degradation by bacteria. She also participated in several ultrasound and other clinical research projects through UCSF-Fresno. In addition, Audra spent a summer at the University of Illinois College of Medicine studying the mechanism of cancer therapeutic, T-oligo.

Personal bio:

Audra was born and raised in Fresno, the heart of California's San Joaquin Valley. When she is not studying, Audra enjoys spending time with her family, working out, playing soccer, cooking, and fine coffee.
