Research interests:

Julie is interested in the addictive liability of pharmaceutical drugs and her research is focused on limiting the addictive potential of drugs that have yet to come to market. She will be studying a variety of pharmaceutical compounds to better understand their biochemical and behavioral potentials of abuse.

Personal bio:

Julie was born in Mobile, Ala., and grew up in Raleigh, N.C. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010 with highest distinction and highest honors in biology and romance languages. Julie loves being outdoors, traveling around the globe and spending time with her husband.
