Research Interests:

Devin’s current interests focus on the fields of microbiology and infectious diseases. His current research involves investigation of virulence factor regulation in P. aeruginosa, with the goal of creating new methods for anti-microbial therapy.

Personal Bio:

Devin was born and raised in the suburbs of Lynchburg. After attending U.Va., he was a laboratory technician in the U.Va. pharmacology department for a year. He is the first person in his family to enroll in a doctoral program. His hobbies include sailing, traveling and beer tasting. He is getting married in September 2011, and has already expanded his family to include one cat and one dog.
